If your search results are coming up with a blank black screen. Perform the following steps to correct the issue.
1.restarting Search services (Ctrl + Shift + Escape to launch Task Manager)
2.click the Details tab
3.right click and select End Task on both (Cortana.exe if exist and SearchUI.exe) The SearchUI.exe will automatically restart within a few seconds and search bar results started working again!
